Operating a pairing this week, we had a couple new flight attendants that had just started flying this month. In fact I had interviewed one of them last August and recommended for hire. (Yay!) I was working on tidying my galley and she was taking her break when she asked,
“Do you have a blog?”
I stopped cleaning my coffee pot, looked at her, narrowed my eyes and said, “…yes.” (dramatic, I know!)
“What’s it called?”
“thesegoldwings.com”
“I knew it! I’ve read you blog!”
“No way! When?”
“Before I was interviewed. I was looking for information and it came up. It was so helpful!”
I was glowing with pride by now, I’m sure. “Aw Yay! I’m glad you like it! How’d you know it was my blog?”
“Well, You’ve mentioned this is your second season and all the other puzzle pieces seemed to fit.”
“Ha! You little detective you.”
Anyways, that was the first official time I was recognized for my writing. At least without me saying something like “Oh I’m going to blog about this” first. Yay me!
